Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). Included with the book is an oversized postcard or Cayman Card titled Sir Turtle. The rear side of it states that 'the Cayman Islands were originally named Las Tortugas, meaning The Turtles. This turtle, Cayman's Mascot, is seen everywhere around the island.' The postcard is from 1988. As you can see from the photos, the covers are perfectly clean. There is some color loss/fading on parts of the margins of the front cover. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout. These pages are full of color photographs and black and white drawings highlighting the beauty of the terrain and of the ocean life as photographed by the scuba divers. The pages in the book are in exceptional condition, very bright and very clean. There are no markings. No turned- down corner creases. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The only imperfection I see is quite minor: a very slight rippling or waviness of the paper just off the top edge, not reaching any of the photographs or print. The book was issued without a dust jacket.
