Cet exemplaire dans une reliure somptueuse exécutée par René Simier (1772 - 1843) relieur des rois Charles X et Louis-Philippe est l'exemplaire de la duchesse de Berry, celui qui recevoit la dédicace de cet ouvrage par le compositeur. La duchesse, née en 1798 à Caserte (Italie) était marié avec le second fils du roi Charles X : Charles-Ferdinand d'Artois duc de Berry. Elle jouait un rôle important dans la restoration des Bourbons en France.
