The author, a prominent figure in the Baptist denomination, argues that these institutions offer a unique and valuable educational experience that is not available at other types of schools. He discusses the history of denominational colleges, their role in American society, and the advantages they offer to students. The author also addresses the concerns that some people have about denominational colleges and universities, such as their potential for sectarianism and their ability to provide a well-rounded education. Ultimately, the author concludes that denominational colleges and universities are a vital part of the American educational landscape and that they deserve the support of all who are interested in the future of higher education. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
