The animals include Lizards, Tigers, Dolphins, Penquins, Jack Rabbits, Ducklings, Bears and the Snowy Owl. These are small books, bound in a box set. The art work is very well done in a mild, understated, yet detailed way. The text of each book is informative and easy to read. These, of course, are not indepth studies of the animal subjects, but rather a nice overview. This set is a great gift idea for the child that is into nature. The books are quite attractive and quite well made. I like them and do recommend them. Very good in very good dust jacket. light shelf wear, very good in a very good slipcase, issued without dustjackets.
