L'album est composé de sept illustrations à pleine page, dont quatre coloriées au pochoir par George BARBIER, Paul IRIBE et Georges LEPAPE. "Esthétique, Harmonie, Réalisation techniquement parfaite. la collaboration de ces trois grands dessinateurs a donné naissance à un chef d'oeuvre". Exposition Forney 1988 n° 20. Ces deux compositions de Paul IRIBE illustrent l'Orient et l'Occident, tels deux pendants. Le premier représente une jeune-femme, à demi-nue, agenouillée sur un coussin, entourée de fleurs et de verdure. Pensive elle regarde la mer au loin ; le second pochoir présente une jeune-femme élancée qui hume un bouquet de roses posé sur une ballustrade. Face à elle la mer scintille et au loin apparaît une île. Tirage limité à trois cents exemplaires sur papiers de Luxe avec remarques de Paul IRIBE en bas à droite. Infimes taches, légère mouillure et très légers accidents aux cadres. Oeuvre originale.
