The experimental material consisted of thirty eight aromatic landraces, studied for 47 diagnostic morphological traits and nineteen SSR markers. Variability for morphological traits was recorded for all diagnostic traits and for each land races a passport information for all traits were developed. All considered morphological descriptors showed markeable differences in their distribution and amount of variations within them. The analysis of variance indicated existence of considerable amount of variability for all observed characters. The high amount of genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variation with high genetic advance as percentage of mean was observed for grain yield, number of grains/panicle, 1000 seed weight and number of panicles/plant. In the present study the genetic similarity of these landraces was also worked out at molecular level for 13 loci. 204 pp. Englisch.

The experimental material consisted of seven parents, twelve F1's and twelve F2's populations studied for 14 quantitative traits. ISSR and SSR markers were applied for genetic diversity and hybridity test. ISSR marker UBC-834 and SSR marker SES-143 was found for identification of both the GMS line (MMS-white and MSV-10-5-1). For TGMS line (TMS-3-6-7-9) SSR marker SES-33 was found for identification. The hybridity test from both the primers (ISSR and SSR) confirms the truthfulness of hybrids MMS-white X RVS-20121-3, MSV-10-5-1 X GMU 1769, TMS-3-6-7-9 X GMU 1303 and MSV-10-5-1 X RVS-2012-13. 208 pp. Englisch.

El análisis de la varianza indicó la existencia de una cantidad considerable de variabilidad para todos los caracteres observados. La variabilité des caractères morphologiques a été enregistrée pour tous les caractères diagnostiques et pour chaque race de terre, une information de passeport pour tous les caractères a été développée. Tous les descripteurs morphologiques considérés ont montré des différences notables dans leur distribution et l'importance des variations en leur sein. Condizione: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - El presente libro se llevó a cabo en el Departamento de Genética y Fitomejoramiento, Indira Gandhi Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.) durante kharif 2011 con los objetivos de estudiar la caracterización morfológica y molecular de las…variedades locales de arroz aromático en diversas etapas de crecimiento. El material experimental consistió en treinta y ocho variedades locales aromáticas, estudiadas para 47 rasgos morfológicos de diagnóstico y diecinueve marcadores SSR. Se registró la variabilidad de los rasgos morfológicos para todos los rasgos diagnósticos y para cada raza terrestre se elaboró una información de pasaporte para todos los rasgos. Todos los descriptores morfológicos considerados mostraron diferencias marcables en su distribución y en la cantidad de variaciones dentro de ellos. El análisis de la varianza indicó la existencia de una cantidad considerable de variabilidad para todos los caracteres observados. Se observó un elevado coeficiente de variación genotípica y fenotípica con un elevado avance genético como porcentaje de la media para el rendimiento en grano, el número de granos/panícula, el peso de 1.000 semillas y el número de panículas/planta. En el presente estudio también se determinó la similitud genética de estas variedades locales a nivel molecular para 13 loci.
