Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Two volumes. Octavos. 255; 295pp. (with additional pages laid in). Uniform pink roan blank books with numbered and lined leaves. Ownership signature of G. Olcott Phelps in each volume, modest nicking and wear at the extremities of the boards, very good or better and internally fine. Over 150,000… words of careful and legible notes kept by a student at the Auburn Theological Seminary. One volume is devoted to Dr. Hall's lectures; the Professor of Theology at Auburn between 1855-1877; the other devoted to Dr. Hopkins' lectures. Hopkins was the Hyde Professor of Ecclesiastical History and Church Polity. These exhaustive notes seem as if they could be utilized to reconstruct both classes in total. It seems likely that Phelps was the same man who author of the novel *One Man Power, Plus* Published by The Roxburgh Publishing Company in Boston in 1909, but we can find little else about him.
