A very limited membership and affluent island, make this a difficult course to play. Interesting history of this cloistered club. Frederick Law Olmsted's original plans for the east end of Fishers Island included space for two 18 hole courses, but only one was built, the present course, by Seth Raynor. A well done club history chocked full of black and white and color pictures and carefully researched history. Includes a hole by hole analysis (and pictures) of all eighteen holes, pictures of the interior and exterior of the clubhouse and much more. This is the second and more comprehensive of the two Fishers Island Club histories. We specialize in golf books.
