Second part of the study focuses on the investigation of effectiveness of multiple tuned mass friction dampers (MTMFD) over a TMFD; here response of the multi-story structure and the bridge with TMFD is compared with response of the same structures with MTMFD. This study is intended to provide an insight to the feasibility of potential application of these devices in vibration control of structures and bridge. 244 pp. Englisch.
