Sheet Music. Condizione: Good. A true curiosity, this 1739 Handel Sonata as "arranged for concert use" by Alfred Pochon. It is an assemblage drawn from four different Sonatas, laid out in three sections: Largo and Tempo Giusto / Gavotte, Minuet, Air, Gigue, and Bourre / Larghetto and Allegro. Why such an arrangement was devised remains a mystery. 11, 11, 11 pages. CONDITION: All three parts have taped spines plus moderate edge- and corner-wear (with chipping), but the score pages are unmarked and uncreased. The folio cover has trimmed outer edges and a taped spine plus edge- and corner-wear. Nevertheless, this remains a quite respectable copy - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
