Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: No Dust Jacket. First Thus. Two Volume Set; A clean and sound set, with wear to the top and tail of the spine and the corners, but with the binding intact. The overall look of the binding is dingy, and the titles on the spine are faded, but the interior is pristine. The pages are age-toned but not brittle. No markings are noted in the text, although three initials are written in pencil on the title page of volume I. This edition is a translation from the 13th German edition (1877). Additional chapters have been added to this edition on the subjects of paper money, international trade and the protective system. (Tariffs?) There is an introductory essay by L. Wolowski entitled "The Historical Method in Political Economy". Together, the books total 929 pages. The top corner of the rear endpaper of the second volume has a small piece missing, but this is not characteristic of the set, which really is in quite decent shape for its vintage. Scans on request.
