The experiment was laid out in RCBD with 7 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments consisted of absolute control (T1), 50% customized fertilizer dose(187.5 kg/ha)(T2), 75% customized fertilizer dose(281.25 kg/ ha)(T3), 100% customized fertilizer dose (375.00 kg/ ha), 125% customized fertilizer dose (468.75 kg/ha)(T5), 150% customized fertilizer dose (562.50 kg/ha)(T6) and Recommended dose of fertilizer (T7). Customized fertilizer grade was 20-17-11-3-0.4% of N-P2O5-K2O-S-Zn.T6 recorded significantly higher grain and straw yield than T1, T2, T3 and was on par with T5 and T4.
