First Modern Library edition, hardcover, has a lean to the binding, bumps with moderate wear to the cloth at the spine ends and cover corners, sunning to the spine and head with foxing to the head of the textblock, a small stain to the back cover near the… head, and a previous owner's name penned to the versa of the front flyleaf. Overall, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy in like, unclipped dust jacket, which has sunning to the spine with lighter toning and some wear to the cover edges, rubbing with some smudges and marks to the covers, bumps with creasing and short losses to the spine ends and corners, and a thin scrape down the front cover. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
