Tolkien's works, particularly the 1976 Folio Society edition of The Hobbit, featuring colorful, detailed scenes capturing Middle-earth, a style that added vibrant depth to Tolkien's tales for many collectors and readers. ; illustrations colored by Riddett include "Map of Beleriand and the Lands to the North", "Gondolin and the Vale of Tumladen", and "Nargothrond (II)" ; Elvish calligraphy includes "Errantry" in English with tengwar script. Erranty was a poem by J.R.R. Tolkien, first published in The Oxford Magazine in 1933. It was included in revised and extended form in Tolkien's 1962 collection of short poems, The Adventures of Tom Bombadil. Donald Swann set the poem to music in his 1967 song cycle, The Road Goes Ever On. ; also, "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil" in English written with two different styles of tengwar script. Originally published in English font in The Oxford Magazine in 1934, this poem was later included in a poetry collection of the same title in 1962.
