Hardcover. Condizione: VG-. 1st Edition. Pub by Dodd, Mead & Co., 1886, NAP, presumed 1st Edition or 1st Edition Thus. NOT exLib. VG-minus or better cond. hardcover, no dj. Dark green cloth over beveled bds w/ ornate black & bright gilt dec & lettering on front cover. Moderate edgewear to exterior including loss to bottom 2" at foot of backstrip. Green eps. Binding gauze showing along bottom half of front hinge, but both front & rear hinges remain sound. Front & rear endpapers with vertical mis-folding lines. Textblock itself complete, intact & unmarked, overall VG+ or better. Beautifully illustrated w/ large, full-page etchings in b&w / browntone, with tissue guards. Unpaginated. Ritchie and Roger Riordan. 1886, 17 x 12.75", cloth binding. In fair condition, with minor wear and rubbing to the edges and corners of boards. Slight hinge wear at the front and back of the book, with first and second flyleaf pages loose at the bottom. Small inscriptions towards the front of the book. Each illustration has a title page, tissue guard, and description attached to it. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
