The Big Shots isthe product of painstaking research into the Edwardian period, but unlike most historical work it is slick, well paced and very funny. Image selection is superb. The author's experience and technical knowledge add a dimension that straight research usually lacks. All in all it is hard to imagine a better - or more witty - insight into the culture of that time. Ref EEE2.
