Torben Bramming himself is a Danish theologian, historian, and priest with deep ties to Ribe and Taarnborg. He has authored and co-authored several works on Ribe's history and key figures, including Hans Adolf Brorson, and serves as a cultural custodian of Taarnborg, ensuring its preservation and scholarly interpretation. His expertise and intimate knowledge of the landmark and its historical context are reflected in this volume. A beautifully produced volume documenting Taarnborg, one of Ribe's most significant historical landmarks. The book brings together contributions from several authors, with Torben Bramming providing the detailed historical section. Richly illustrated and deeply informative, it highlights the cultural and architectural heritage of one of Denmark's oldest towns. Photography by Janne Klerk, whose work has been exhibit in the National Museum in Copehagen, along with other exhibitions. Condition: The interior is clean, bright, and beautifully preserved. Binding is solid. The pictorial paper-covered hardcover shows wear: a small stain and several tiny flakes / scratches where the green surface color has lifted, exposing the white beneath.
