Das Handbuch ist eine Anleitung zur Lektüre und zum Verständnis mit…telalterlicher Urkunden: ihrer Schriften, Chronologie, Abkürzungen, Siegel etc. Schmidt-Phiseldecks Name wurde später vor allem dadurch allgemein bekannt, dass er, als leitender Minister des Herzogtums Braunschweig, bei dem exzentrischen Herzog Karl in Ungnade fiel und nach Hannover floh, so daß ihn der Herzog steckbrieflich verfolgen ließ. Innendeckel gestempelt (Stadtbibliothek Olten / ausgeschieden), vorderes fliegendes Vorsatzblatt entfernt, teils leicht stockfleckig (Titelblatt stärker). Schönes Exemplar.
