Robinson, an English lawyer was born in Bury St. Edmunds in 1775 and died in London in 1867. He never married and is remembered as a diarist. He took part in the founding of London University. Between 1800-1805 he studied in Germany meeting men of letters including Goethe and Schiller. He was a correspondent to The Times and became a war correspondent. This work contains reminiscences of central figures of the English Romantic Movement including Coleridge, Charles Lamb, William Blake and William Wordsworth. As this is a heavy item postage may be extra.
