Different applications have different requirements for sensitivity,speed,power etc. LaBaMnO3(LBMO)is a Perovskite metal-oxide manganite material which shows large CMR effect and has been suggested for uncooled bolometer. However,the research work done on the basic properties of this material in connection with the bolometer applications is very limited. In this material, the maximum of the TCR occurs in close vicinity of semiconductor to metal phase transition temperature (Tc). By developing LBMO films on different substrates, new applications for these materials such as bolometric and spintronics devices can be realized. Thin films of LBMO were prepared by electron beam evaporation technique under different substrate temperatures, thicknesses, annealing temperatures on different substrates. 132 pp. Englisch.
