Paperback. Pp.170-182 ONLY, from the journal's full-measure of 113-189, offprint excerpted in plain undecorated white self-wraps, staple-fastened and further bound with white blanks paste-fastened (a laborious but nice addition). The staples have rusted and a touch of rust has seeped to the surface, a good copy nonetheless (and several copies, 3, are available in the same condition: else sound, clean and unmarked). Contents, briefly: T.S. Eliot on his brands of Christianity and of poetry, and another essay on contrasts between Eliot and Milton; Austen's Emma; Tolstoy; Flannery O'Connor; Kawabata's Thousand Cranes; two translated Chinese stories (Lao She and Shen Tsung-Wen).
