Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Compressed Air Magazine during the years 1931-1935 issued a series of five booklets giving its readers a progressive history of the building of the Hoover Dam. The material from those booklets is reproduced here except for the advertising and material about the Colorado River Aqueduct. An oversized work of 144 pages with grey laminate boards with black and white photos photographs on the front and back cover and throughout the volume. The upper outer edges have light bumps but the interior of the book is clean and binding is tight. No underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no remainder marks, no folded or dogeared pages, no foxing, no smudges. A very nice copy of the building of the 726 foot high Hoover Dam, the engineering wonder of the United States in the 1930's. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
