Die zunehmende Wichtigkeit indivualisierter Bewegungsfelder, neue soziale Muster und sich verändernde Familienmodelle tragen dazu bei, die Dinge, die uns umgeben, zu verändern. Diese Entwicklungen sind bis anhin jedoch weitgehend unerforscht. Indem es die verschiedenen Bedeutungen und die komplette Bandbreite des 'Quadratmeters' aufzeigt, untersucht das Projekt, wie global wirkende Kräfte den Massstab des Heims verändern sei es in grossen urbanen Dimensionen, sei es im Bezug auf die kleine Einheit der Möbel.
