Pamphlet. Reprint, originally chapter 14 of Rowan's 1931 book The Pinkertons, here in pamphlet format: 12p., illustrated with a few sketches germane to the action, and no fewer than nine vignette photoportraits of library staffers, of whom three ladies and seven wearers of eyeglasses. Pamphlet is stapled into 8x5 inch wraps, a little sunned along the spinefold but else very good. Account of a nasty but not particularly famous bunch, lynched in two separate episodes.
