Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. pp.ix, 628 pages, a very good hardback, publisher's original full brown leather binding with gold gilt lettering to the spine and a gilt logo featuring 'Eminent Women of the Age' to the front cover. The same logo is stamped into the leather on the back cover and coloured in black. All page edges are gold gilt. This book was only published in America, although many of the women it features are from the UK, and it is hard to find in the UK. Inevitably the leather is rubbed to the extremities, but the binding is tight and square (IT IS NOT FROM A LIBRARY); so overall a Superb Victorian book!
