Laszlo Tokes (1952-) was a Hungarian Reformed Church pastor in Romania; protests among his supporters over his treatment spiralled into the Romanian revolution which overthrew the Communist dictatorship of President Ceacescu. Tokes became a bishop in the Reformed Church, and a member and vice-president of the European Parliament. He is often portrayed in the West as an evangelical, however as long ago as the 1990s this would have been disputed by some evangelicals within the Reformed Church.
