One titled "Hearth Visions" signed; one typed on Peterborough Public Library letterhead and signed. Text block clean and square. Small tear to top edge of free front endpaper. Cloth very slightly worn to extremities, mildly scuffed with one stain to front. Very good. A remarkable and unique copy. Signed by Author(s).

This is the author's Muskoka pioneer memoir on his strugg…les and adventures as a settler and railroad worker in Northern ON Canada and western Canada. This copy has the author's 16 line poem on the front pastedown written by him, dated and signed in Peterborough ON Canada Nov 2nd, 1931, a picture of the author signed using his pseudonym and his real name from 1877,on the reverse of the half title page, and is signed by the author using his real name on the title page. A truly customized copy of an extremely scarce book, especially with the dust jacket in any condition. The author was the Chief Librarian of the Peterborough ON Canada Public Library from 1910 till his retirement in 1946.
