Paperback with dust jacket glued to text block, 29 pages including wood engravings;--- text in Dutch;---this is one of the personal copies of Voss, later a Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer;--plain card covers which have an engraving of Goethe on t…he front with his name in black, and his name in black again on the spine;---dust jacket slightly larger than the text block, accordingly bumped and creased along edges with several tiny chips/tears, otherwise very gently used, hardly a trace of shelf wear, foxing spots to top edge with penetration along the upper margins of all pages, exterior age darkened and lightly foxed, moderate foxing to both front endpapers (back endpapers clean with orange lettering against a white background, a black coat of arms on each), all pages otherwise very clean and unmarked, pages fresh and white;---this book acquired from Voss's estate and one of the very few lacking his professionally designed (by him) bookplate.
