Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Jay and Perry are fraternal twins separated at birth. Their biological mother, Gloria, kept Jay to raise and Perry was given up for adoption. Two brothers living their early stages of life in Paris attended high school together, unaware of their relation, and later became good friends. What would you do if you found out you were separated at birth from your sibling? Although Perry was raised by wealthy loving parents, he lacked confidence; whereas, Jay, raised in poverty, was more of an outgoing self-assured person. In high school, Jay always protected Perry from the typical bullies. They were the complete opposite yet the same. As time passed, their lives moved in different directions. Perry was determined in search of his birth mother, Gloria. Will his search of Gloria lead him to Jay? A friendship bonded by loyalty and brotherly love will be tested. What will be the outcome? Jay and Perry are fraternal twins separated at birth. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

Prima edizione
Condizione: Good+. Pierre Vignal (watercolors) and Louis C. Rosenberg and Samuel Chamberlain (drawings) (illustratore). First Edition. Large folio (13 x 18 inches) containing 24 watercolor reproductions tipped in, along with 35 black-and-white drawings by Louis C. Rosenberg and Samuel Chamberlain. Also enhanced by 44 plates of drawings, photographs, diagrams and maps. Half tan cloth over blue cloth boards, gilt lettering stamped on front cover and spine. Many of the leaves are unopened. Preliminary leaves with very light age-toning to edges. Modest foxing to pastedowns. Boards with wear, stains and uneven fading; joints starting, with light fraying. Of an edition limited to 1,000 copies, this is stamped copy number 153. Title continues: "A Series of Historical Examples from Roman Times to the End of the XVIIIth Century." An appreciation of historic French infrastructure that survived WWI. The work begs the question of bridge-attrition leveled by WWII. In sum, the Pierre Vignal watercolors are exquisite; the drawings by Rosenberg and Chamberlain edifying. A handsome, luxe production. Loose sheets in cloth folio with cloth ties.
