Affixed neatly to the inner spine of the back cover and in a careful fold-out state is a letter from the poet to a friend of Dr Guthrie which indicates that Dr Guthrie was not a medical doctor but a divin e. Folded in the same manner is a manuscript of the poem 'Supplication' signed by the poet. The manuscript seems to a working draft of the poem with many pencilled revisions, etc. There is also a letter to Dr Guthrie signed by the poet. With pencilled notes of Vinal's in the text. Signed by the Poet/Novelist.
