Falckenstein, Ernst Friedrich Eduard Vogel von (1797 Breslau - 1885 Schloss Dolzig im Landkreis Sorau (Lausitz), preußischer General der Infanterie). 1841 Major, 1848 bei der Märzrevolution in Berlin verwundet, anschließend Einsatz in Holstein, 1850 zum Generalstabschef des 3. Armee-Korps ernannt, 1855 Generalmajor und Kommandeur der 2. Garde-Infanterie-Brigade, 1858 Generalleutnant, 1864 Auszeichnung mit dem Orden Pour le Mérite, Gouverneur von Jütland, 1866 Oberbefehlshaber der preußischen Main-Armee.
