Features woodcut frontispieces in all three volumes, with additional in-text illustrations by George Cattermole and Hablot Browne. (Eckel 63) (Smith I, 6). This work includes the stories of The Old Curiosity Shop and Barnaby Rudge, as well as an appearance by Mr. Pickwick. Master Humphrey's Clock was originally published in four formats: "In 88 weekly parts; 20 monthly parts; the three-volume edition, and the issue in separately bound volumes of the two stories" (Eckel 62) The full serials ran from April 4, 1840, through November 27, 1841.
