Contemporary half-leather - red leather spine and marbled paper boards with red leather corners. Spine ends scuffed; spine's gilt stamping remains fairly bright; boards toned/rubbed with worn edges. Missing preliminary and terminal blank leaves (no free endpapers nor flyleaves). Front pastedown is immediately opposite page 1 which has "Waldie's Library" - "Memoirs of the Court of England During the Reign of the Stuarts, Including the Protectorate" by John Heneage Jesse. Last page of No. 30 issue is immediately opposite rear pastedown. Binding is firm.
