Good/poor, used, appears to be a 1st edition, 1st printing, brownish colored cloth with dark brown text on spine and upper, vii-ix, drawings of famous bucking horses, 285pp. Interior clean, no marks, binding tight. Dust jacket is poor condition, large chip to head and tail of the spine, corners worn, chip and old tape repair to top edge of the upper near fore-corner, paper missing along top and bottom edges of the lower. DJ is now enclosed in protective sleeve.

Publisher's padded brown calf with large gilt facsimile signature of Wieghorst on front, yellow endpapers, matching slipcase. A very slight wave to lower edge of first few leaves but hardly noticeable. An excellent copy.Recognized as the "Dean of Western Painters", Wieghorst's work is often compared with that of Remington and Russell, and his paintings hang in the great public and private collections of western art.
