Beautiful - they make me cry"; an accomplished singer and philanthropist, Lorraine often accompanied Elmo on world-wide movie-making jaunts, and also cared for their home and children when Elmo was away; her annual Christmas letters had a long list of recipients, including many Hollywood stars of the day; Elmo Williams has signed the title page in blue ink ("From Lorraine's other half - good wishes, Elmo Williams").
