The artist, Frances Ann Hopkins, is in the canoe. Gilt titled on spine. Very clean and completely unmarked. Slight wear to spine heel edge, trace wear to spine head edges, and a touch of wear to upper rear corner--all quite minor. Internals are As New. Binding tight , solid and square. An illustrated account of the opening up of the vast Canadian wilderness, stretching from the Great lakes to the Pacific Ocean.
