Von den Basler Frühschriften bis zur späten Philosophie der Machtwillen sind diese positiv konnotierten Fortschrittsbegriffe nachweisbar. Mit ihnen wird kompensatorisch Partei zugunsten von unzeitgemäßen Wertsetzungen ergriffen und eine Fundamentalalternative zu den übersteigerten Fortschrittsprogrammen der Neuzeit aufgezeigt. Überzeugend stellt der Autor dar, daß Nietzsche jenseits seiner effektvollen Sprüche und Irrtümer ein subtil-sensibler und ausgleichender Kritiker des Fortschritts ist. 230 Seiten, gebunden (Akademie Verlag 2001).
