Fair, no dustjacket. Ex-school library. Spine rebacked with red cloth tape, Corners bumped with cardboard exposed there and along edges of boards, red tape repaired front hinge crack, rear hinge cracked (glue repaired) , area on paste-down rear endpaper where it appears a cardjacket was removed, age yellowed, a few dogears, 1/2 to 1 inch tears and stray smudges, otherwise, apart from library marks, tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked. One of the first children's books about the new wonder of TV, which, as noted, was then only commercially available to a few people in the New York City area. Harder to find.
