Aquamarine cloth rubbed and lightly soiled; surface abrasion at lower spine and rear joint; slender mottling at edges. Some foxing/toning to text block edges with a few small faint stains to fore-edge. S…trong foxing/toning to ffep recto and rfep verso with lighter occurrences to opposing pastedowns; interior pages are mostly clean. Binding is firm. A very good- copy. With "Tour Key Map" on front endpapers and seventeen b/w maps amongst text (this printing was not issued with the rear pastedown pocket foldout map). Sponsored by The Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society. Foreword by Governor John W. Bricker; Preface by Federal Writers' Project State Director Harlan Hatcher; numerous b/w plates (including seventeen images by Ben Shahn) in eight sections of unpaged leaves; concluding Appendices section contains Chronology, Bibliography, and Index.
