The editor, who is author also of a widely-acclaimed life of Humboldt, has distilled the man's thought into a single comprehensive volume. "First included in Everyman's Library, 2018" (copyright page). "This is a Borzoi book published by Alfred A. Knopf" (ibid.). Series title: Everyman's Library, 387 Dark green cloth; title panel and gilt lettering, spine; Borzoi symbol, TP and EPs; marker ribbon bound in at headband; sewn binding. As above, this book is in near-mint condition, with no easily visible flaws to exterior (save perhaps minor signs of shelving and storage). Within, the book is untouched: no markings to EPs or text block, no signs of prior ownership, no markings of any kind to text. Paper stock is bright, binding untried, marker ribbon unmoved.
