Seltenes belgisches Happening-Magazin aus dem Umfeld der Provo-Szene, hier das zweite Heft vom Oktober 1965. Ab 1965 organisierten Panamarenko, Dr. Hugo Heyrman, Wout Vercammen, Bernd Lohaus, Yoshio Nakajima und andere "Happenings" in Antwerpen, Brüssel und Ostende. Die "Happenings" können als freie multidisziplinäre Aktionen verstanden werden, die sich häufig mit gesellschaftlichen Themen auseinandersetzen. Ein gutes Beispiel hierfür ist die »IJsblokkenactie« (Eisblockaktion) vom 6. Juli 1968. Auf dem Conscienceplein in Antwerpen wurden Eisblöcke gestapelt, um "vorübergehende" Barrikaden zu errichten, eine Aktion, die das Gebiet als verkehrsfreie Zone und als Kinderspielplatz zurückeroberte. Dies war eines der ersten "Happenings", die das Kollektiv unter dem Namen "VAGA" (Vrije Aktiegroep Antwerpen Free Action Group Antwerpen) präsentierte. Die Zeitschrift "Happening News" erschien erstmals 1965 zeitgleich mit den "Happenings". Das Magazin bestand hauptsächlich aus Collagen, die mit einem Xerox-Kopierer erstellt wurden. Ähnlich wie die "Happenings" sind die Collagen surreal und humorvoll und beziehen sich oft auf frühere "Happenings". Später wurde "Happening News" in "Milkyways" umbenannt, weil man den Begriff "Happening" für veraltet hielt. Sechs Ausgaben erschienen, drei als Happening News und drei als Milky Ways. Das Magazin wurde von September 1965 bis etwa März 1966 in einer kleinen Auflage fotokopiert, wobei die Originalvorlage unter Plastikhüllen eingeheftet war. Diese Ausgabe enthält die xeroxierten Köpfe der vier Protagonisten Panamarenko, Wout Vercammen, Hugo Heyrman und Bernd Lohaus. Tony Rombouts und Jeroen Henneman haben beide mit einer einseitigen Komposition / einem Gedicht beigetragen. Eine Komposition von Hugo Heyrman trägt das Datum "13. Oktober 1965".

Similar works were exhibited at a CAyC group show in Buenos Aires in 1975. Yoshio Nakajima, a Japanese experimental artist, was associated with Fluxus East and worked with other avant-garde artists in Sweden and the Netherlands in the 1970s. In 1978 Thomas Niggl and Peter Below's influential Omnibus Press published a monograph titled Yoshio Nakajima: Test Kultur, documenting the chronology of Nakajima's practice through images if his performances and happenings across Europe from the early 1960s. A number of works by Nakajima were featured in the 1976 Japanese issue of Schmuck magazine published in the UK by Felipe Ehrenberg and David Mayor of Beau Geste Press. An archive of Yoshio Nakajima's unique offset print works and associated materials and ephemera is available on request.
