This is a book devoted to Russian Wooden Architecture, printed in Moscow during the Second World War in 1942. Table of Contents at rear has English translations, all other text is in Russian. A solid copy of a rare title. From the series Monuments of Russian Architecture, published by the Academy of Architecture, Moscow. Good, shows signs of age - covers warped and a bit soiled (but this was a war-time produced book, so standards were likely lower). Small white label at base of spine, and bookplate inside front cover.
