First edition. Mark Doty's first book written as were his first three with his then wife Ruth. One of 600 copies (there was no hardcover) in wrappers, the cover and interior with illustrated initials by Teresa McNeil. A good copy, the covers a bit creased, the foot of the spine worn, and somewhat stained and soiled. Interior is…clean. An uncommon first book by one of the foremost poets of his generation.
