Das entstehende Bauteil dieses einstufigen Prozesses wird als intrinsisches Hybrid bezeichnet. Aufgrund der intrinsischen Hybridisierung entstehen neue Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten und produktionstechnische Vorteile, aber auch Herausforderungen in Bezug auf die Prüfung, Simulation und Herstellung.
