No stated date but the book appears to be from around the 1930s. 28pp. This play is a short historical comedy set in a cottage in the Western Highlands of Scotland, in the late summer of 1773. It forms numner 78 in the publisher's 'Scottish Plays' series. It is staple bound in thin grey-green card covers with blue titling on the front cover and a list of some other plays on the back. It is in good condition although there are a few faults and it is probably best regarded as being a reading and reference copy. The covers have shelf wear with some soiling and the staples are rusted. There is a home-made repair of brown paper tape over the spine which extends about 1/2" onto the front and rear cover. The contents are clean apart from some rust staining from the staples and the middle 4 pages (13 to 16) are now loose.…
