Libro
Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Hardcover. Recently rebound with heavy boards in plain blue cloth, handsomely done & without decoration or fuss. New black endpapers. Original text block complete and in quite good condition. New Testament has a separate title page, also dated 1678. Unpaginated. Edges trimmed close, but never affecting headers or text. Some fading and some stains here and there, but insignificant given age and condition of the book. Measures 7 x 9.5 inches. Dedication to King James. The King James Bible was finished and published in 1611. Printers Barker and Bill were the only official printers to the King (and therefore of this bible) until at least 1629. The publication history of the KJV is fascinating, but I won't fill this space with it! Please email with questions or to request photos.
