Really, however, it consists of the poems written during one self-contained period 1959 - 67, more or less February to February, along with a ruthlessly censored introductory selection of what went before.

Scarce title. [Tony Conran was an Anglo-Welsh poet and translator of Welsh poetry. His own poetry was mostly written in English and Modernist in style but was very much influenced by Welsh poetic tradition, Welsh culture and history]. This copy with neat ownership inscription "David Lloyd. Bangor 1961" (see image, there is a discrepancy here, as the printed publication date is given as 1974). .
