The author has done significant research in preparing this book on the early transportation routes in Marquette County, and walked the routes of all the roads discussed. The history also covers the mines which w…ere along these routes. Contains a bibliography in the front. Original yellow paperback publisher's covers with black spine and cover lettering and photo. There is a very light crease to the uppper corner, one page is dogeared, and there is a remnant of an old bookshop sticker on the lower corner of the rear wrapper, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates.
