Aggiungi al carrelloTrade paperback original. First edition (& 1st printing). Original horror anthology, edited and published by Nicholas Royle: foreword by Ramsey Campbell. SIGNED, INSCRIBED AND DATED BY THE EDITOR/''to Di and Mike, thanks for a lovely evening, Nick x, 12.11.91''/AND INSCRIBED BY RAMSEY CAMPBELL/''for Di and Mike, all the best Ramsey''. Finally published (and financed) by the editor himself, at one stage he had hoped The British Fantasy Society would publish it, and laid in to this copy is a typed letter from Royle to Mike & Di Wathen of the BFS, asking for their help, plus other material (including a printed contents list which differs considerably to the finished volume, with the editors comments about the authors). Includes ''The dark land'' by Michael Marshall Smith, his first very story accepted for publication, but because of the long delay (several years) in getting this anthology published, was in the end not his first published story. A second volume DARKLANDS 2 was published the following year. Fine (unread) copy.
