WorldCat cites only one copy ! Only two months after Mr. Manning died, the neighbor who holds the mortgage on Sand Hill Farm threatens to foreclose. Mrs. Manning, together with her father and her children decide to stay on the farm and raise garden crops to sell in a nearby town that is having a "boom." Fifty new houses will be built and fifty new families will move in. The children are sure they can make it work . George W. Lose published between 1897 and ca. 1920, chiefly for the Lutheran Book Concern, in Columbus, Ohio. Much of his work in Germany was issued by Hirsch, Konstanz, Germany.

First edition of this beautifully printed photographic excursion through the Art Deco marvels of the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition held on Treasure Island in San Francisco.
